Faculty and Career Center Resources

As a faculty or advisor, you are in a great position to help individuals at your college or university learn about the William D. Clarke, Sr. Diplomatic Security Fellowship program and encourage them to apply.  Here are some resources:

Request a virtual info session for your students

Complete the form on this page to request a virtual info session, sponsored by your institution. We will contact you right away to schedule a convenient date and time. We’ll set up the virtual info session on our webinar platform and provide you with the promotional email to send to your students so they can register online for the virtual session. The virtual info session will be an overview of the Clarke DS Fellowship program, eligibility and benefits, followed by a live Q&A session.

Contact a Diplomat in Residence (DIR) in your region

The Department of State has 17 Diplomats in Residence (DIRs) located in regions across the United States. These career Foreign Service Officers are responsible for providing guidance and advice to students, professionals, and the community about State Department careers.  Here is an interactive map to provide the contact info and bio of the DIR in your region: https://careers.state.gov/connect/dir/
